In Key West, all couples seeking to be wed must apply for a marriage license at the Monroe County Clerk of the Court’s Office. There is no waiting period for a marriage license for out-of-state residents. However, Florida residents must take a pre-marriage class and wait three days after a marriage license is issued. Required documents needed for a marriage license in Key West include a valid passport or driver’s license.
